Wearing crystals for the days of the week will allow you to invoke the energy of their corresponding planets and deities.
The days of the week were originally named for the sun, the moon, and the five ancient known planets. These planets were associated with particular gods depending upon the culture. For example, the Greeks, the Romans, and Germanic peoples each had their own gods associated with the different days of the week.
To invoke the energy of the planets or deities listed below, wear or carry one of the listed stones on the corresponding day of the week. Wearing crystal jewelry (or keeping a stone in your pocket) in this way is considered a talisman of good luck and protection.
These stones can also help you ease into your day and work through whatever the day may bring. To further connect with the energy of the crystal, try meditating with your chosen stone, creating a crystal grid, or placing the stone in a prominent position on your altar or in your sacred space.

Monday (Moon’s Day):
Deities: Selene, Artemis, Hecate, Mani, Luna
Stones: Selenite, Pearl, Moonstone, Silver, Blue Kyanite

Tuesday (Tiu’s Day):
Deities: Mars, Aries, Tyr/Tiu

Wednesday (Woden’s Day):
Deities: Mercury, Hermes, Odin/Woden

Another interesting way to use these stones is to find out on which day of the week you were born and use the corresponding stone as a personal talisman.
For example, I was born on a Friday, Freya’s Day. Something fascinating happens when we are born into this world, and the cosmos imprints that energy onto our spirit from the moment we are born. If you embrace that energy and tap into the strength it can give you, you can create and do amazing things.
So, if I wanted to strengthen my understanding of the archetypal energy of love and beauty, enhance my connection to Venus (or Aphrodite or Freya), or utilize the positive aspects of the planet Venus, I would carry or wear an Emerald, Copper, Chrysoprase, Rose Quartz, or Pink Tourmaline at all times as a personal talisman.

I was also born on a Friday. I have always wanted an emerald. Guess this is the year to order one I can wear. I also read that Friday is a lucky day for sowing seeds. Perhaps my emerald can be my “seed” gemstone as in, “What will I sow this Friday?” Also one of the first deities I was called to was Venus – Aphrodite, whose day is also Friday.

The crystals we recommend for people born on a Tuesday are ruby, red garnet, red jasper, carnelian, and sardonyx <3 Lots of fiery red energy as Mars is the celestial body associated with Tuesday. So i’ve been making a journal on some basics & such with witchcraft (specifically especially wicca) but i’ve been having to rely on websites & such because of lack of being able to purchase certain books on all of the topics. Well now i think i may have messed up somewhere.. I’ve been looking at a lot on witchipedia.com (obviously seems like a good idea) but now after finding this article, some things aren’t quite lining up. See, on their site they have the deities of monday listed as Diana, Artemis, Selene & Luna. But then here, you have the deities of monday listed as Selene, Artemis, Hecate, Mani & Luna. So now i’m not sure what exactly i’ve gotten right or wrong with certain things on the days of the week.. Some things are alike on both sites but then other things are not so what should I be taking in? What other sorts of things should I be looking into to further study the information i’m looking for?

A lot of correspondences are intuitive, some are personal, some are related to historical sources (based on the planets that go with each day). We always recommend using your inner guidance for any and all information that is newly introduced to you, so take the information that resonates and leave the rest.
