More About Blue Lace Agate:
Blue Lace Agate is a translucent to opaque, massive mineral. It is easily identified by its layers of pale, cornflower blue alternating with layers of white “lace.” Blue Lace Agate is a banded form of Chalcedony. Because this is a cryptocrystalline stone, it displays no outward crystal structure, but it belongs to the trigonal crystal system. Even though this stone is common in the market, it is only found in parts of Kenya and Namibia.
Blue Lace Agate is a stone of forgiveness, helping you accept what has happened and release it.
It encourages you to heal your emotions and find balance. Blue Lace Agate allows you to feel empathy and compassion for the person requiring your forgiveness and ensures that any energetic attachments are healed. It is a stone of positive communication, promoting assertiveness and personal power.

Blue Lace Agate Lore:
This stone was discovered only recently, in the 1950’s, by George Swanson. Although it has no historical lore, it has developed a reputation in modern-day as the “Stone of Ecology.” In 1972, Mr. Swanson was moved by the words of Dr. Harrison Schmitt, the only geologist to walk on the surface of the moon. Dr. Schmitt said, “If ever there was a fragile-appearing piece of blue in space, it’s the Earth right now.” Mr Swanson knew that these stones could be a symbol of this “fragile blue.” Blue Lace Agate was even, for a time, adopted as a symbol of earth ecology by the Tyler Ecology Award.
