More Information About Angel Aura Quartz:
Aura Quartz is made by placing natural Quartz crystals into a vacuum chamber with vaporized metals for 12-18 hours. The “atomized” metal molecules then adhere to the surface of the Quartz through an electrostatic process. They coat it, creating the beautiful display of colors with which we are all familiar. The thin metallic coating (generally less than 1 micron thick) cannot be scratched or rubbed off. This is because it has been molecularly bonded with the surface of the Quartz. This is mostly done to small points or clusters.
Some healers prefer not to use these stones as they are not completely natural (i.e. they are a “human-encouraged” creation). However, others, including myself, consider these stones to be useful healing tools. Although the process for making these stones is not carried out within the earth, the stones are made of all-natural components. There are no human-made or synthetic additives (such as plastics or dyes). Therefore, it seems as though the Quartz simply acts as a natural amplifier to the metals bonded to it.

Angel Aura Quartz is Quartz that has been coated in platinum and silver. The thin layer of metal atoms on the surface of the Quartz would not generally be enough to use for healing purposes. However, the energy of the Quartz crystal enhances and amplifies the energy of the Platinum and Silver to the extent that they can be successfully used for healing.
These crystals are uncommon, but they’re readily available at most specialty crystal shops. Angel Aura Quartz can help you connect with angels (including Archangels and the Ascended Masters), your ancestors, and your guides. Thanks Ashley, great topic. I was a hold out on aura crystals, and once I worked with them I love them! The energy feels incredibly sweet to me. In the past I’ve reflected on altered stones…I see some who are opposed to such stones yet they are wearing nylon clothing, have multiple shades of hair colors that I’ve not seen in nature and are often knocking back diet drinks. So honestly I thought while they may feel energetically different with altered stones, it doesn’t seem to have much impact on how they feel in physical form. As natural as I love to be…I am not 100% without something tinkered with on me or in my environment. So I let go only working with unaltered stones to working with what energetically suits me. If the Aura quartz is just quartz that has gone through a process, why does the properties of the stone change? Am I missing something?

I love the look of Angel aura crystals and have tried working with it on many occasions. To look at it I feel uplifted yet to hold I struggle to find any feeling in the crystal. I am not sure why but I don’t even feel the properties of the quartz. I find this with stones that have been enhanced in some way they look pretty but lose their feeling. It’s said to connect you with the angels but this crystal doesn’t help me with that either. I am a psychic/healer who is strongly clairsentient so to me feeling is everything. It may just be that when I have worked with these crystal they might not have been what I needed at the time. So I challenge everyone to find their own thoughts.

I received my first Angel aura quartz today and used it while setting up and reactivating my prosperity altar. I’ve just begun to openly communicate with guides and guardians, ancestors and angels. I can’t even begin to explain the expansion this crystal had on my spiritual and healing practice…I was connected, yet grounded, calm and clear. The energy has lasted for hours.
