Our pets are members of our family. We love them and we do our best to care for them. However, most of us only treat our pets for physical ailments, focusing on symptom- based treatment and forgetting to use a holistic approach to healing. By using crystal chakra healing for animals, we can treat the energetic cause of a physical condition while a veterinarian treats the physical symptoms.
All beings have energy centers, or chakras. Chakras are whirling energy centers deep inside the body, which act like power stations in the body to energize the vital organs. They absorb and distribute energy as well as being the centers of the psychic faculties. There are seven major chakras and many minor chakras (with the most significant being located near the hands, feet, and ears).
You may be very familiar with the locations of human chakras, but since animals have a slightly different body shape, it may be difficult to locate each energy center on your pet’s body. You may want to check out the diagrams here to help you locate your pet’s chakra centers.
Performing a Crystal Chakra Balance for Your Pet:
For this chakra balancing layout, it is recommended that you place a stone of the corresponding color on each of the seven main chakras. This exercise will open the energetic pathways within your pet’s meridian system and will also activate your pet’s major chakra centers. This technique is best used with tired or fatigued animals, or with those pets that are under a great deal of stress, but will be beneficial to almost all pets.
To begin, you should choose colored stones that are appropriate for each of the seven main chakras. For example, you may choose to use:
- Red Garnet, Ruby, or Red Jasper at the Root Chakra Carnelian, Orange Calcite, or Amber at the Sacral Chakra
- Citrine, Yellow Aventurine, or Golden Tiger’s Eye at the Solar Plexus Chakra
- Chrysoprase, Green Nephrite Jade, or Green Aventurine at the Heart Chakra
- Blue Lace Agate, Celestite, or Angelite at the Throat Chakra
- Lapis Lazuli, Sodalite, or Iolite at the Third Eye Chakra
- Amethyst, Lepidolite, or Sugilite at the Crown Chakra
To begin, you should position yourself near the base of the animal’s spine and place the red stone near the area of your pet’s Root Chakra. Next, you should place the orange stone near the animal’s Sacral Chakra. Then, you should place the yellow stone near your pet’s Solar Plexus Chakra. You should then move nearer to your pet’s Heart Chakra and place your green stone. Alternatively, you may place a pink stone (such as a Rose Quartz, Rhodonite, or Rhodochrosite) near your pet’s Heart Chakra instead of using a green stone. Next, you should place a blue stone near your pet’s Throat Chakra. Then, you should place an indigo (dark blue) stone near the animal’s Third Eye Chakra. Finally, you should place the violet stone near your pet’s Crown Chakra.
Intuitive Crystal Healing for Animals:
You can follow the same procedure as for the Chakra balancing Layout, except you will intuitively place your chosen stone on an area of your pet’s body or you will place it on the area needing healing. You will then perform the energy infusion technique on the selected area.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Energy Healing is not meant to replace conventional medicine, but rather to complement and enhance it. Information within this site is metaphysical in nature and is by no means medical. Energy Healing should only be used with the understanding that it is not an independent therapy, but one that is a part of a holistic healing approach. You should always seek appropriate veterinary care for your pets.
