Which Crystals are Best for Your Zodiac Sign?

People love working with the stones that are connected with their zodiac sign, but choosing the best crystals for your sign is not as simple as you may first think…
When it comes to crystals for the signs of the zodiac, there is much debate and confusion over which stones connect to which particular signs and why. There are several different methods for choosing the stones that are best for each sign, but one of the simplest (and my personal favorite!) is to choose stones based on their elemental correspondences.
Each Zodiac sign is related to one of the four elements: earth, air, fire, or water. Each element has properties that influence the personality traits of its associated sign. The elements represent the four creative energies of the universe. Each of them is associated with certain healing stones based on their respective properties and energies. These crystals enhance the positive attributes associated with your Zodiac sign, and can balance the negative aspects of that sign.
For example, if you’re a Taurus and you would like to enhance abundance in your life, you may choose to wear or carry an Emerald stone.
However, if you’ve been faced with some of the less-than-glamorous aspects of your sign (like Sagittarius’ notorious fiery temper), you may choose to carry or wear a stone of the opposing element in order to balance this energy. Based on this example, a Sagittarius may wear or carry a Water element crystal to balance the negative aspects of their fire sign.
Elemental Crystals for the Zodiac Signs:

The Earth element represents protection, stability, abundance, and growth. This element enhances the positive attributes of the earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, & Capricorn) and it balances the negative attributes of the air signs (Gemini, Libra, & Aquarius).

Crystals for Air Signs:
The Air element represents change, new beginnings, and intellect. This element enhances the positive attributes of the Air signs (Gemini, Libra, & Aquarius) and it balances the negative attributes of the Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, & Capricorn).
Air Element stones include:
- Angelite
- Blue Apatite
- Azurite
- Celestite
- Rainbow Fluorite
- Blue Kyanite
- Lepidolite
- Mica
- Pumice
- Blue Sapphire

Crystals for Fire Signs:
The Fire element represents vitality, creativity, and personal power. This element enhances the positive attributes of the Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, & Sagittarius) and it balances the negative attributes of the Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, & Pisces).
Fire Element stones include:
- Fire Agate
- Amber
- Citrine
- Diamond
- Garnet
- Heliodor
- Red Jasper
- Lava Rock
- Obsidian
- Clear Quartz
- Rhodochrosite
- Red Spinel
Crystals for Water Signs:
The Water element represents emotions, intuition, cleansing, and love. This element enhances the positive attributes of the Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, & Pisces) and it balances the negative attributes of the Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, & Sagittarius).
Water Element stones include:
- Blue Lace Agate
- Amazonite
- Amethyst
- Aquamarine
- White Calcite
- Larimar
- Moonstone
- Boulder Opal
- Pearl
- Blue Quartz
- Selenite
- Blue Tourmaline
Working with Elemental Crystals:
To work with your elemental crystal, place it on your altar along with something representing that element (for example, a candle for fire, incense or a feather for air, a small fountain or shell for water, or a plant or crystal cluster for earth). Sit in front of your altar with your elemental crystal and envision yourself surrounded by the energy of element you’ve chosen. Feel it fill your aura and charge you up with positive energy.

I’m a Pisces so my element is water and the crystals are as follows: Amethyst, Boulder Opal, Larimar, White Calcite, Pearl, Blue Lace Agate, Amazonite, Aquamarine, Moonstone, Selenite, and Blue Tourmaline. But my favourite crystal is Amethyst, as it’s also my birthstone because I was born in February.

Hi Ashley…Thank you so much for all that you do! I wanted to leave a comment on this vlog, because I love Crystals, and I also find the Zodiac to be interesting. You see, I believe in the ’13 signs Zodiac Signs’, making me a Libra, instead of a Scorpio. I was very pleased to see from this blog, that the Crystals listed under the sign of Libra, (my sign in the 13 sign system), were all the very favorites of mine, that I resonate with completely! My Crystal collection is not big enough to have been able to of tried them all, but especially Turquoise…I wear a large pendent everyday from my Mom, and a pretty big Blue Kyanite, which I wire-wrapped into a pendent, and love it. Lepidolite and Angelite are also favorites of mine. Thank you again, Angela

Hi Kortnie! Each zodiac sign can work with the element that corresponds to their specific sign to enhance their positive qualities, or they can also work with the opposing elements to balance their sign’s negative attributes. This can be an intuitive process, so if someone wears a stone and they find themselves feeling negative effects, it’s possible that stone isn’t meant for them at this particular time. I was really wanting & truly needing to know which crystals to wear according my sun, moon & any other signs or even birth chart, whatever it is that may effect which crystals are best for me & which will help me the best to heal. I’ve been truly trying to make this healing process the best & the most positively effective as possible. It would be a blessing,in my eyes at least, if I were able to actually figure out which crystals are supposed to be used according to my signs or according to my birth chart, whichever it is that would make things most accurate & effective of course.
I’ve been hoping to get the help I truly need to really aide in the healing of my self esteem,self love,inner happiness, confidence, self worth. Then also other healing from trauma PTSD,some anxiety with some depression.
Then we get into looking into help with even potentially luck or wealth eventually,b/c my kids & I are struggling tremendously! We’re having to move from our living situation in just 12 days & we’re having such a hard time finding a place that we can move to,not to mention,that we can,afford!! I have 4 kids& I have a grandchild on the way as well. So financial, if I could find out crystals that may assist with my abundance too, I’d be very grateful.
I wouldn’t normally ask about it.Is there ACTUALLY a crystal that according to my sign(s) or birth chart I should wear that would help me with this?
